This Limited Edition semi silk saree resembles the design of a typical Swarnachari saree, the quintessential product of Bishnupur, West Bengal, famous for Baluchari and Swarnachari sarees.
We bring you the same design combined with affordability, for occasions such as pujas and ‘Anjali pradaan’. A version of the well known, “Laal paar shada saree”, used widely in Durga Puja and similar other occasions and ceremonies, embodies pairs of dancing Apsaras on its pallu. The body of the saree shows a repetitive pattern of a single lady in a dancing pose, a strikingly similar one that we observe in the old temple architecture in India.
